Will I Survive This

All these stress wrought nights.
I can barely slumber.
But if to slumber, but in pain.
In dreams that haunt me.
Chase me through subconscious and meet me face to face upon rising.
It is here in the flesh.
And here in dusk of a dream.
My weary head finds no solace in the grace of a cotton white pillow.
No matter the softness the head lays heavy,an anchor above floorboards.
I can not rest in my heart, fleeting seconds of unsustainable peace.
Even within the stillness fearing the whirlwind of fears are on its horizon.
I grow so very tired with no hope of exhausted rest.
The mind plagues the heart and the heart curdles under minds vast imagery of what is to come.
I sit in a swell of darkness where none can be seen.
Where shadows turn to haunting.
The silence bursting into my eardrums.
The deafening howling buzz of nothingness strewn about a dilapidated garage full of memories with no future.
