Mental Stability

Gone forevermore,
Are steady habits and mental stability.
So many today seem too afraid,
To admit they are perfectly aware.
And conscious enough,
To refuse the madness and its insanity.
Knowing these days,
Craze has been normalized.
Leaving no one to deny or defy,
The reality of it,
More accepted than rejected!

'What a wonderful life we live these days.
No one has to pretend,
To be out of their minds.
Or feel they've been,
Subjected to be scrutinized.
By anyone objecting to their beliefs!

'Uh...
You took the words right out of my mouth.
You must be psycho?'

'Psycho?
What do you mean psycho?'

'I meant psychic.
Psychic!
That's what I meant!'

'Hmmm.
I think you're right.
I never thought about that,
Being a natural gift I must have!'
