The Dream

Steven Cohen 1982 (Nashville)

Saturday night I went home drunk
With the 18s like thunder in my trunk
Listening to true
While smoking a blunt
To a nigga like me pulled a major stunt
Turned off the lights and I go to the wheel
Didn't even care if I was killed
Ran Off the road and hit a tree
Never thought it would kill me
Didn't know I was going to hell
I'd rather had went straight to jail
People say that hell's a scream
So I thank God it was just a dream
