Has Been
A little pinch of this plus a lot of cops of that
Is exactly what has gotten us into this spat
We once were golden as bright as the sun
Not easy to separate us from having our fun
Big smiles and laughter is all we portrayed
Now all of your crappy drama has it delayed
I’m stuck in a stupor no fault of my own
Your actions are hideous I do not condone
You thought you could bring her in our home
While I sat in the living room by myself alone
Sneaking around constantly day and night
Telling me I’m crazy and enjoying to fight
You called me every name you could think
And expect me to want to fondle your dink
Looking me in the eyes spewing your lies
Denying and trying to throw me off track
You dealt your cards the whole darn stack
There’s no going back now your in to deep
I have not been able to be at rest nor sleep
I’m done trying to help you see the light
Now I want you gone out of my sight
Your lucky I’m stronger than you thought
Your definitely not the man that I sought
Your selfish and shallow a shell of a man
Everything you told me was just a scam
You’ll get back what you gave me three fold
I’m telling everyone what you left untold
They will all know your a immoral schmuck
Hope that girl half your age brings you luck
For your going to need it where your going
Burning in hell cause the seeds your sewing
Very untrue that all is fair in love or war
Karmas coming for you to settle the score
You no longer exist and know I’m not mean
But your a bad person that is now a has been
About this poem
I write my empo’s (that’s what I call my poem’s) about personal experiences. It is therapeutic I think to write down feelings and release them. I just stumbled across this contest and thought I would throw my thoughts in and see where they land. Good luck too everyone!
