The Perfect Poet 2014 (Birmingham)

Free verse
Life is butter
Everybody flutters
Days are just a dream
But once a dream
fades away they make
No way to seem

Days are stone
Put meat on the bone
I just remembered to see
There is no meat on the bone
So time is stone
No meat on the bone
So I have nothing to eat.

The end is near
Now you will cheer
But remember this, Oh please
Remember your day, the best
Of your days
So you will always succeed

About this poem

I wrote this poem when I was feeling lonely at school and the words just started popping in my head!!
