Maurice Toney 1972 (New Orleans)

It's hard to gain wisdom when the knowledge is contaminated.
History stultification.
Images divested of melanation

Before my shoulders were back in my head high.
Before I knew the greatness in my African DNA
Before I understood the power of subliminal imagery.
Before I could attempt to comprehend the genius in my bloodline

I was a victim.

Victimized by America's melanated inferiority indoctrination reinforced by its systems of miseducation.

I was a slave and set semi-free.
