Nightmares
I’ve been having nightmares
of the two of us pulling apart
It was like an open heart surgery
With no anaesthesia
Every colours you made me feel
In a blasting synesthesia
Ceased when I stopped breathing
And there I was, losing myself
just as much as I was
losing you
Green flatline on a dark screen
My eyes closing with eternal thoughts
And the sound of death beeping
so quietly
