Frozen

Elizabeth Ogle 1981 (Tennessee)

              Frozen
I sit and freeze
So you can sleep
Unlike you I turn the light out
So you can maybe rest maybe dream
I care about all of your feelings
Even though in your room
Full of you my beautiful
I've become so empty
So numb so cold
Guess for you I'm boring
I'm too old
Try to back away
Not crowd you any
During the nite during the day
My best of everything
Slowly drifts longing to be free
Rid of this place
Rid of me
Come on please tell me what you think
I try hard but can't yet
Wash you off of me
Nor do I want to
I want to belong to you
And you to belong to me
Love you always
Just a best memory
