re-kindled poetry

I used to be a poet.

A dreamer

A writer

A heart with a million words of wisdom to inspire.
 I had goals and aspirations.

Ambitious thoughts of filling stages

Book signing events.

Cheerful fans

Who couldn't stop turning the pages.

Even the youth would love my stories.

 Read aloud.

Laugh at the characters!

But all that changed...
When I became lost in character,

I lost my character.

Started acting out of character.

This lonely desolate trap

No guidance
No inspiration
No sound
Rhythm
Rhyme
or format

A Lost poet, no pen or pad

But then,

These Techno waves created digital tracks.

A Digital map

into a new era of poetry

in which I must adapt.

I am destined to become an author.

Small city girl with a story to tell.

Fear had paused my words too long.

I'm no longer afraid my story won't sell.

I'm ready to conquer this ship and sail.

Furthermore, I miss you poetry and may our love prevail.
