The Cursed one

The cursed one
The cursed one in the family
The oldest child
Who they say is the favorite
But is left alone to fend for herself
Grew up asking for things she’d never get
But as she grew
And as the younger ones came along
She just watched as they got what they wanted
While she still is left to figure life out alone
Never had the iPad while her friend did
Never got the brand shoes like her friends
But instead was denied and told to look at the families situation
Same family another house one more bedroom
Same life for her
But a new one for her siblings
What she once want they have
What she once asked for they got
As she just stood their and watched
Yet the same standards stand for her
Cursed by the insecurities
Cursed by the addictions no one knew
Cursed to figure things out and be an example
Cursed to be a daughter but a good role model
Cursed to please others while she continues to lose herself
She wants to make them proud but no skills
She avoids going home but she’s good at nothing outside
Yet she’d rather suck and stay outside than go back to the home where she’s left alone to survive
She cries every night with no one to wipe her eyes
She was cursed with no love life too
She’s not the prettiest with the best body like everyone says
She not stable but she is the most stable person in everyone’s eyes
She is there for others to cry in her shoulder but she has no one to cry too
As she starts getting touchy and hugs with everyone they don’t understand what she wants
She’s thought of it before but she loves her family and her younger brothers more than she loves life it’s self
She is the cursed one in the family
Because she also takes the curse so that everyone around her is happy
Oh to be the cursed oldest child in the family
