How Long

How long did you think i would go for it,
How long  did you think i would pretend
that my eyes don't see ;the evil ,mistreatment,abuse,and diseased that lives with in.
The darkness when i look into your eyes"
tongue filled with emotion, deceit and lies.
How long will i turn the other cheek,the way you look at me!The truth of the matter crawling up my spine,when love is blind there can be no wrong,making excuses finding ways to minimize the lack of respect when it comes to me waiting to criticize my emotions lack of empathy, non soothing between my thighs,no "cloud nine"
Unanswered questions stays on my mind
hiding behind the truth "why was i so blind .
How long until i find the nerve to say,forbidding what thoughts began to cloud my mind "we departed a thousand times,how long will i endure the senseless feeling ,lack of emotion ,suppressing my feelings before i say goodbye ,letting go of rejection so i can i breathe "stop"being naive ; how long before there's no more you and me "to set myself free !!! How long will it be.
