Just Thank God

Rebecca Casteel 1969 (Torrance CA)

Do the best with what you have and don't want no  more, just thank God you have no less don't take for granted the little things I have and the little things you have can be gone in a twinkling of an eye you carry yourself held high you stumbled fall to more pieces are soon chipped away now there is no more to chip off or is it that you lost your pride and self esteem.  Now I know that I don't want no more, so let's all get together and just thank God we have no less."

About this poem
