Ballad
Oh god the almighty
You shun from above
You vanquish small children
But still You preach love

Oh god the almighty
So strong and so just
You use tsunamis and wildfires
And turn us to dust

Oh god the almighty
Are you good are you bad
We go to your church
But still we are sad

Oh god the almighty
Why must you lie
You say love one another
But only incoents die

About this poem

It's about the perception people have of God being good when there is so much tragedy and death in the world
