A little home
All I want is a little home
where I can touch the ceiling in a few hops,
where I can lean on the walls as long as I want.
It might get chilly during December,
but hey, nothing a pot of tea can’t solve.
As I boil the water, pour the leaves, and brew the tea,
my home becomes a bit warmer than the winter.
About this poem
I wrote this poem while it was drizzling outside, and coincidentally I came across a picture of a small house by the lake. As someone who toiled away in school and college aspiring for riches, now, after having enough of reality, all I want is a small house by the lake, away from the city and stress.
