Free verse
In the hush of night, where silence breathes with death's embrace,
I weep as shadows dance in a moonlit space,
I’m waiting for a final peace,
One that lasts forever, like the quiet slumber of a dreamless sleep.
Only death can give me life,
A life which I’m ready to face
