When I was little
and my brother too.
We were satlsfied,
over things of trifle.

Neither we had computer
nor any electronic gadget
but had the emotion,
for little manaoeuvar.

My mother was dexterous,
in making paper menageries.
She could make with paper,
from tiger to rhinoceros.

Electronic toys were not available.
Only wooden toys quenched the thrist.
But we had paper menageries
Which were not so durable.

Though market toys were,
made with skillful hands.
But the paper toys were,
made very emotionally and with care.

Paper toys seemed to us very alive.
Even we talked and whispered with them.
When they were damaged,
We nagged our mother for another life.

Now our mother is no more
but are kept few paper menageries.
These menageries evoke
the sense of her memories.
