It's November 1st
Another day grief comes back
You should still be here

I still write for you
You understood that I had
To write my feelings

Your dad wrote that you
Struggled with every day life
I dont think that's true

I think you struggled
With the big ones, the ones that
Tear you inside out

You were always there
And somehow always awake
When I needed you

I will always wish
you sought out love & support
As much as you gave
