Two Captains

The seven seas are rough and wild,
And war has come to make them riled,
Two captains strong, both with their goals,
One for his country, one for his flag, both with their roles.

The first captain stands tall and proud,
His ship a fortress, his crew unbowed,
He fights for his land, his people, his kin,
And will not let the enemy win.

The second captain is quick and sly,
His ship a shadow, his crew a spy,
He fights for his cause, his honor, his pride,
And will not let the enemy decide.

The cannons roar, the ships collide,
The sailors fight, the captains decide,
Who will win this battle of wills,
And who will fall to the ocean's chills.

In the end, there can be just one,
The victor of the battle won,
And though the sea may rage and roar,
The victor's flag will fly once more.
