A Soldiers Triumph

Beneath the flag of freedom, a hero's journey's done,
A soldier's heart triumphant as he turns toward the sun.
The weight of battles lifted, as he steps on native land,
A reunion with his loved ones, a moment sweet and grand.

The morning sun salutes him, painting skies in gold,
A tale of resilience, of stories to be told.
Through valleys deep with sorrow, and mountains steep and high,
He's conquered every challenge, beneath the open sky.

A symphony of joy resounds in every street,
As families gather 'round, their loved one's steps to greet.
Children run with laughter, wives with tears of glee,
In the arms of warm embraces, they welcome him with glee.

The neighborhood adorned with flags, in red, and white, and blue,
A celebration of the brave, the steadfast, and the true.
Neighbors join in chorus, a melody of cheer,
A soldier's homecoming, a moment crystal clear.

The dinner table set, with a feast fit for a king,
A toast to life and liberty, let the celebration sing.
He shares the tales of valor, of friendships tried and true,
A soldier's heart now anchored in the love he knew.

Hand in hand with family, under the evening sky,
He looks upon the stars, with a twinkle in his eye.
For in the embrace of loved ones, in the warmth of hearth and home,
A soldier finds his haven, no more to roam.

So raise a glass to courage, to triumph over strife,
In the heart of the returning, the essence of a life.
For in the arms of loved ones, with laughter rich and free,
A soldier finds the home, where he was meant to be.
