The Message

Yo, listen up, I got a message to deliver,
About the disrespect that's spreading like a river,
Younger adults, teaching the wrong way,
Passing on disrespect, leading kids astray.

It's a shame to see the lack of respect,
The values they neglect, it's time to correct,
Our adolescents deserve better than this,
Let's teach 'em honor, show 'em what respect is.

They're glued to screens, lost in their own world,
No manners, no empathy, it's all unfurled,
Disrespecting elders, talking out of turn,
We gotta teach 'em better, make 'em truly learn.

It starts with us, leading by example,
Showing respect, breaking the disrespect sample,
Let's guide the youth, show 'em the right way,
Reverse this trend, make respect the new replay.

No more tolerating the disrespect they spread,
It's time to stand up, let our voices be heard,
Teach 'em kindness, empathy, and gratitude,
Respect for one another, that's the attitude.

So let's come together, break this cycle of disdain,
Teach the next generation to respect, not to feign,
It's up to us to set the example right,
And bring back respect, shining in its might.
