THE ALLURING BUT DESTRESSING FALL

The nature gave it's last finishing presentation
The crimson landscape, that unsurpassed beauty needed an appreciation
That slushy rain falling
Watching those departed leaves on the branch clinging,
Transforming the perceived from snug blue
Changed completely into the lands of yellow hue
Forests seemed like an entirely deceived soul
Which once had green reminiscence and floret unfold
Winter opened up its arms for a snowy hug
And within no time all clumped even a bug
The cozy days and enchanting cold nights will soon be
When each leaflet will swirl till it's death falling from tree
It's a complex pattern where every fill-in is new
It's so fragile right now, anything can shatter it even a dew
Autumn seems so inventive more alluring in blonde light
Comprehend everything dying will you still see it as a lovely sight?

About this poem

Fall is a really beloved season but has anyone ever realized it is the dead fallen leaves that they find so alluring? Sometimes death is so powerful that it can look this attractive

Urvashi Bhalla

I am a teen writer. I started writing 3 years ago when I was around 13 years old. I used to live in India but came to the USA last year. I love writing whether it is novels, books or poems and enjoy reading different novels as well. My writing style mainly involves dark or hidden sides or nature normally people can't even figure out. I as well write dark poems about trauma, unstable mental health, teenage struggles, lost love, death, depression etc more…
