My Husband

MY HUSBAND
Charmed by his smile
Frozen by aura
By his height, I couldn`t help
But lift my head to catch his gaze
What a presence! I thought for a second
But that`s the man I`m married to

His irresistible presence I always longed for
He made me laugh till I embraced the floor
He attended to every need I did not see
And bared his world for me to see
So in love, we said “I do”
And that`s the man I`m married to

Love lived in our hearts
But trouble gushed out in a rage
Lonely nights, empty purses, and miles apart
As in a dark endless turnel
Yet he saw for us, a better end I did not see
Oh yes! He`s the man I`m married to

Together again, the love never dwindles
He wakes me up as a routine
Into his world of play and laughter
And when the sun kisses goodbye
And the moon it`s welcome
He rocks my waist till I let out a scream
And gently places my head on his chest in a warm bear curdle
Now you can echo my thoughts aloud
Thank God for the man I`m married to
