Me and My Self Respect

In the mirror of my soul, a reflection stands,
A tale of strength, in self-respect's hands.
I am the author of my narrative, bold,
In the story of my life, a treasure to hold.

With each step I take, with pride I stride,
A symphony of self-respect, deep inside.
No compromise with the essence of me,
For in self-respect, I find my decree.

A fortress built on values strong,
In the face of challenges, I belong.
No surrender to the whispers of doubt,
In self-respect, I find my way out.

I am the captain of my ship at sea,
Navigating waves with integrity.
For self-respect is the compass true,
Guiding me through the ocean blue.

In the tapestry of life, I weave,
Threads of honor, in which I believe.
No compromise, no bargain with pride,
In self-respect, my spirit shall abide.

For I am a melody, a song unsung,
A journey with self-respect begun.
No echoes of disrespect shall sway,
In the dance of life, I find my own way.

So here I stand, with head held high,
A reflection of self-respect, reaching the sky.
In the poetry of existence, I find my rhyme,
For in me and my self-respect, I stand the test of time.
