In the rock garden

There's not a sound to be heard,
Only pebbles and moss…
Like the neck of a crane bird
A row of stones stretched out with gloss.

Here is a monk sitting right in the middle, -
Closed his eyes and went into a trance.
He seems to be solving some kind of riddle
In order to calm the rebellious soul in advance.

Somewhere nearby you can notice a stream,
Carefully carrying fallen sakura leaves.
The shining crimson from the sunbeam
Showers sparks on ancient temples with eaves.

Forgetting about everything on earth
And meditating until the end of time.
Then you can realize what it's worth, -
How in harmony achieve your prime.
