Friend

Anthony young 1965 (Middleton)

Friends

What is a friend do you know?
Someone to talk to, emotions to show,
To hold your hand when you feel down,
To give you a smile replace the frown.

They will never question or judge your choice,
When you can't speak they will be your voice.
There always a hug waiting for you,
A cuddle and support to help you through.

They won't expect payment it's all out of kind,
Being a friend they won't mind,
It's a bond together that you can't explain,
True friends forever they will remain,

A J Young
