For moral atrophy
For a crack
A lack
Of humanity
It feeds on
Envy
Jealously
Hypocrisy
It is
Hungry as it
Creeps into
Society
Shrewdly
Surreptitiously
Stealthily
Hardly felt
At first
Like a cancer
It grows
It knows
How to spread
It’s venom
Poisoning
The meek
The weak
The simple
The easily lead
Those with prejudice bred
The uninformed
Evil does not sleep
It waits
With one eye open
For those who are
Virtuously broken!
