My love lingers
As does the green of an evergreen
I touch a flower gently with my fingers
It makes me feel like a queen
I pet the fur of a rabbit
I sway my feet in the stream
In my love nature forever inhabits
Like the green in an evergreen

About this poem

I wrote this poem because I am interested and marveled at the way evergreens stay green, even in winter.
