Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde

Would you still love Dr Jekyll
If you knew of Mr Hyde?
Would you tolerate Frankenstein's Monster
But demonise his bride?
Are you angry with the ladies
Who drove the Count to drink?
Do you recognise the grooming?
Do the girls all need a shrink?
My sister's saw me suffer
My sister's saw my pain
My sister's heard my story
I thought the truth was plain
But the devil's in the detail
The devil's much more fun
He'll dance, get high and give you drugs
Till the rising of the sun
We victims are uncomfortable
Mendacity's their swag
All they want is perfect parties
My trauma is a drag
You were friends with Dr
Jekyll
But you knew of Mr Hyde
You saw what he was doing
But you chose to say you're blind
You used the pain I suffered
To prove  the sin is mine
defend the indefensible
My truth is now my crime.
Now the man is ashes
My peace is still forestalled
Dr Frankenstein the creator
Has made monsters of you all.
