Darling Child

To my darling child,

It's amazing how much you've grown.

Within a moment you have gone from babe to a young child.

It is amazing how you have blossomed.

You bring me so much joy.

At times it's hard.

Just yesterday you were crawling.

Now you dance like no one is watching.

There are time I fear these moments will pass too quickly.

That I will blink and you will be a teenager, preparing yourself for adulthood.

So I cherish these moments with all of my heart.

To see the person you will become.

Know my darling child that I will always be there.

And that I love you to Pluto and back.
