Breathing mountain

I am a breathing mountain alone.
I am a breathing mountain cold.
I am crying as I moan.
I am big and bold.

I breathe to live
but some live to breathe.
What I have I give
but what they have they shield.

The bruises I have
contain memories I will never forget.
The bruises I had
have never shaded away.

I am a breathing mountain alone.
They blame me
for all that has gone.
And for that I regret how I learnt to breathe.

About this poem

I wrote this poem at a time when I was lonely and had no one to talk to and I just felt really different from everyone else from the things I did to the things I am interested in.
