Angels Speak

Her voice, like the flutter of angel wings, A melody that sweeps me off my feet, Soft and soothing, like a lullaby that sings, And makes my heart skip and dance to its beat.

The way she speaks, a sweet symphony, That fills my ears and stirs my soul, And I'm left in awe of her harmonies, As if listening to a heavenly toll.

Only angels speak like this, I think, With such grace and divine elegance, And I am grateful for the chance to drink, From the well of her vocal benevolence.

Her voice is a balm for the weary heart, A soothing salve for the aching mind, And every time I hear her speak, I start, To feel the weight of the world unwind.

Oh, how lovely her voice is, indeed, A treasure that I cherish and adore, And I know, without a single shred of heed, That hers is a voice worth fighting for.

About this poem

This poem is about a girl whose voice can only be correlated to that of an angels. It’s a voice so angelic that I could listen to it over and over again.
