Alone
Nicole Migliara 2003 (New Jersey)
Her tears were like glass. Anyone who tried failed to see the real her burried underneath the deep sorrow she felt. She told herself, things would get better but it seemed it never did. The world had made up lies for her to tell herself. The school can do something but they don't care. If it's a bad look for there image why try at all? The students know but it's just another joke about the innocent. They stand there and get tormented till tears fall and the laughter gets louder. She's helpless and alone she's hoping one day she'll find someone who can break through her cracks and see who she is. But for now it's another day of misery, alone in her bed for another eternity.
