The Sombre

In shadows deep, where darkness lies,
A poem weaves, with simple cries.
Meanings hidden, in words so few,
A glimpse of truth, for me and you.

Within these lines, emotions bloom,
In simple words, a world consumes.
Heartbeats echo, in rhythmic sway,
As thoughts and feelings find their way.

With gentle touch, the tears may fall,
In four short stanzas, we share it all.
A touch of sadness, a hint of pain,
Yet hope persists, through every strain.

So let these words, like whispers soft,
Resonate within, and lift aloft.
In simplicity, we find our voice,
And in connection, we rejoice.
