My younger self

My younger self, I am present to you
from my old self
by a journey through imagination or reminiscence-
how sweet still you are, my elf-
let's help each other in a loving embrace!

I am at my old self with many limitations
lamentations and sigh-
fie on me, what have I done in the past
covered in rust!

Dear younger self, listen to what I say,
what should have been said long ago
in the form of advice
embellished with my old self-experiences.

Invent your aim, bend over backwards
to go ahead, to achieve your goals
removing all the black holes from your inner self
and love yourself, try to make the world lovable.
