Nature of it all.

I pause with fear
For the unknown.
Want a season
Filled with joy.

But scream of fear
Hiding behind
Closed doors.
Not realizing
The snow, was hiding.

We both are cold,
One glistens in
The sun.
The other shuddering in
Fear.

What happens next
And in what world
Was creation.
Why deny myself
Of joy when theirs
Another nature
To this season.
