Quiet winter

Count the frost bitten nights.
As they continue!
Who was I?
Where do I go.
The snow rebounds.

Many curious agape
As the snow falls, but many
Don’t realize.

It’s chilly and I’m cold,
Their busy warm in their homes, and
I’m out in the cold.

And I count another night
All alone.
