Baltimore

Vantablack-colored cumulonimbus clouds cover the west side of Baltimore's sky. Trees bend and shake, breaking into pieces. Menacing torrential rain creates an enthralling ripple effect on the windows. A storm so rare; it is such a prodigious sight. I am standing still and focused, not moving a muscle. Immense wind's 300 mph violently spins, with hail pelting hard enough to shatter instantly. Suddenly its quiet, the clouds rush past with pink, magenta, and cerulean colors filling the sky. After the sporadic, long, unforeseen tempest, the petrichor was a welcoming scent for Baltimore's west side.
