Falling Through The Sky

James Groseclose 1983 (United States)

It's just another day
I keep moving along on my way
And if I fall into the sky
To reach a star in the night
Will you catch me and make me stay

It's just a moments time
But a memory held in line
And if I fall into the sky
To see the world through your eyes
Will you catch, this dream of mine

It's just a beat held within
So feed your soul and let's begin
And if I fall into the sky
To be in this moment in time
Would let me show you, I'm all in

It's just keeps going getting stronger
Deeper growing lasting longer
And if I fall into the sky
To be right there by your side
Will you hold me that much longer

It just becomes so much more
Take that step walk through that door
And if I fell into the sky
Just to reach up to your height
I know I'll find what I was looking for

If you fell into the sky
I'd catch you, and hold you tight
If you fell into the sky
Show you the world through my eyes
If you fell....I'd catch you
If you fell....I'd catch you
And put you back on the path that's right.
I'd catch you...
Let's fall into the sky.

James Groseclose

I enjoy writing poetry and songs on a regular basis. I have many I have written. Some have been published. Poetry allows me to express what I am feeling inside. It allows for someone to hopefully find inspiration in their lives. My poetry is meant to be read, meant for others, and meant to be enjoyed. more…
