Monotony

Voices echoing
An internal chamber of vibrant chords
Dissonant with the day
Low thrumming, sounds colliding
Inflections infecting my mind
Like handprints on the walls of time
Stretching into the infinite
The vines imbibe
The nectar of the earth
While I lie waiting in my shell
Counting the stars
The veins imbibe
The nectar of the soul
Pushing on the grains of sand
Accelerate your mind
Transition to the crowded cosmos
Crying out in confusion
For the luck of the day and the brightness of morn
Is gone.
