Sunshine upon that child’s frame,
As sadness shines it’s fearless game,
And two lovers cry of melancholy fears,
For the sunshine has beautified their tears.

For what is a child in the sunshine?
It’s two lovers in beautiful sadness,
Battling fears in the dust of time,
Feeling the sunshine glow with sad happiness.

Every child is of the sun,
With innocent love upon it’s breast
Glowing melancholiness until time is done,
And the lovers feel the sunshine no more in their crest,

For what is a child in the sunshine?
It’s two, sad lovers on a poet’s rhyme,
Beautiful in loves trying fears,
Glowing in the sunshine, together in all their sad and happy years.
