I like who I am When…

I like who I am When…
I am sitting across from you
Across the table
Across the screen
Across the world
But somehow still
In your field
In your energy
Sitting in the pool
Of your essence
And friequencies
Like a hot tub
Bubbling with possibilities.

I become some version
Of myself
The best of myself
The version you need
Saying the words
Channeled by the divine
Essence deep in the core
Of my being
I can only be this version
In your presence
You make me Holy
By your desire
To connect
With what needs
Validation
In your heart
In your mind
In your wishes
In your deepest desires
In your soul.

Then I step in front
Of another.
Everything changes
The universe pivots
You need something
Entirely different
And so I become
The next thing
That is needed
A comedian
Slightly egotistical
Insert foot in mouth
Why did I say that?
Because for the moment
It was what you needed
To realise your own wisdom
Is greater
Than putting me
On a pedestal
I needed to be flawed
So you could shine
And the Divine knows
I’m ok with playing
The Fool card
For a moment in time
So you can realise
Your own divinity.

Both versions
Are equally
Perfect.

Another comes
Before me
And we meet
For the first time
I am shocked by
The wisdom falling
Out of my mouth
And the calmness
Flooding my being
I wish I could be like this
Always,
But it is only right now
It is only today
It is only this
Sacred moment
When the need of
Your soul
Longs for answers
And a message
A long time coming
And teasr well up
Threatening to break
The damn around your heart
Who am I?
The answer is
Who you need me
To be.

This isn’t a conscious
Choice.
This is an agreement
To serve two very
Important beings,
You
And
The divine.
The three of us
Agreed a long time ago.

Sometimes I only become aware
Until it’s nearly over
What has happened.
It’s so funny
And it’s not.
Sometimes
I’m the Fool
Other times
I am the Priestess
Otherimes
I am the confidant
Still others
I am the mother
You never had
Or I am the bad guy
So you can assert
Yourself
I am what you need
Me to be,
Though you are likely
Unaware of it
As am I
Half the time.

One thing I do know
Is this
I trust the universe
Who moves through me
Who is me
Who is you
Who is us
Doing this
Divine dance
This sacred Play
Of forgetting
Who we are
So we can know
The joy of
Self discovery
Self realization
Self worth
Self esteem
And know
We were always
Whole
Complete
And enough
From the very beginning
We just innocently
forgot.

Mythica Blessyng

I am a freeform, no editing (other than spellcheck) inspired by life and feelings poet. I learned this from the poetry community back in 2005-2007 in Denver, CO at the Mercury Cafe and GypsyHouse Cafe (when it existed.) I also taught poetry writing with the Non-Profit "Art from Ashes" group who goes into schools and teaches that everyone is a genius, teaching kids to flow, and not edit, but let the words come. It is a beautiful process. They learn to honor their feelings, words and inner genius. I have a published poetry book called "The Dirty Line" on Amazon under my previous married last name of von Griffyn, if you are inspired to check it out. Nice to meet you dear poetry family. I look forward to being inspired by you. Namaste' Mythica more…
