My Christmas Wishes

Rhymed
A Christmas wish I never got
Because nobody ever bought
Me what I hinted at for fun.
Apparently, I reached no one.

A Christmas wish I rarely get;
The past few years I haven't yet
Received the books I'm hoping for
But maybe if I ask once more?

The one wish that I always find
In every Christmas in my mind
Is being with the ones I love;
My family thanks to God above!
