The Joyful Garden of Now : Wonders Without End

Choosing to live an adventurous life
Is oft better than spending days filled with strife
Regretting chances not taken, paths left behind
Memories unmade haunt the restless mind

Why sit idle, procrastinating dreams?
When adventure calls like sunlit streams
Flowing fast, urging, take the leap
Into unknown depths, mysteries deep

Leave comfort's lure, predictable and safe
Risk messy joy, your heart to chafe
Against the winds of change, surprise
Discovery shining in your eyes

Being silly, playful, full of mirth
More precious than material worth
Laugh and dance as children do
When life feels fresh and choices new

Don't let fear hold you paralyzed
Soon the moment passes, time flies
Seize each day as a gift to unfold
Stories untold, treasures untold

Step forth boldly, believe in yourself
You contain more strength than you've felt
Power to shape your destiny
Write your story, set your spirit free

There will be falls, failures and flops
Mishaps and mess-ups along the tops
Times you stumble, skin your knees
Make a fool of yourself, if you please!

For each lesson learns fortifies
And bandages the wounds that arise
Scars remain to remind and restore
The courage you uncovered before

In discomfort growth takes its shape
Valleys carve grandeur in the landscape
It's counterpoint to mountain's rise
The sweetness in bitterness lies

Do not fear ridicule or critics' eyes
Their judgments oft rooted in lies
Comparing one to their narrow views
They know not your shoes, cannot fill them too

Stay open, trusting in each moment
The present is life's precious garment
Woven of choices, chance, and change
To limit it would seem deranged

Why shut doors on possibility?
Curiosity feeds the soul's vitality
Asking "what if?" however absurd
Can unearth insight previously unheard

Your life is a story only you author
Write it well but not with ardor
Too strict an outline stifles the pen
Let inspiration guide you now and then

No path is smooth, without rocks or bends
But far more enriching than dead ends
Twists and turns lead places unexpected
Horizons broadened, eyes lifted and directed

Beyond the known lies a feast unknown
A banquet of people, passions yet unsown
Waiting patiently for your delight
If you dare walk past the edge of night

Do not let judgments cloud your sight
Or good opinions deplete your might
Others know not your inner constellation
Follow your truth to find elation

Regret digs graves for dreams denied
Postponed potential eventually dies
Seize today or watch chances slide
Adventure whispers, come, let's ride!

Life holds more than you can control
Improvisation feeds the soul
Plans may falter but spirit stays lit
When you act from your core, follow your grit

Being present awakens every sense
To beauty, grace, as you walk the fence
Balancing order and chaos, this dance between
Being responsible yet boldly carefree

Do not wait for perfect conditions
They rarely come, life has no provisions
To hand you casually what you desire
You must catch sparks and stoke your own fire

Leap before you look and land surprised
At how well your wings have improvised
Trust you can fly, you won't crash
Unless you proclaim limits and attach

Judge nothing ahead of its time
Curiosity cures notions of crime
Stay open, receptive to this moment's call
Opportunities abound for all

Do not let anxiety bind imagination
Freedom comes by releasing expectation
Of results, approval, outcomes foreseen
And flowing with what life hands, unforeseen

What if each day brimmed with potential?
Would you wake and give the time mental
Space to wander, play, be inefficient?
In those gaps magic lies, see the mystical

Life's clockticks ego tries controlling
Your spirit thrives in timeless beholding
Of how precious is this blink of being
All we need is right here, right now, for seeing

Do not wait for courage to strike one day
It hides always within, there to stay
 available in every present minute
Waiting for your willingness to begin it

No mistakes exist, just learning curves
Winding paths, lessons time preserves
To shape you slowly, gently into
All you can be, if you walk through

Being silly, playful, unconstrained
Unleashes insight long buried, chained
Lightness lifts heavy doors barring potential
Freeing you to live life unconventional

Flowers grow only in tilled soil
It's messy making things fertile, not sterile
So plunge your hands in, over and over
Tending your heart's garden to uncover

Gifts inside needing cultivated space
To sprout, take shape, and brightly lace
Your purpose path with colors bold and clear
Watered by joy's Stream, day by day appear

Dare to get muddy, soaked, tipped out of order
Adventure calls from life's every border
"Come taste, see, feel, forget your story!
Play with me now. Come, add to your glory!"

Do not fear the unknown lying in wait
It is your friend, beckoning faithfully to create
New memories vibrant, laced with awe
When you leave home and heed the call

No moment can be repeated, relived
Each is unique, a singular gift
To fill with passion, zeal, delight
Before it fades into the night

Waste not this precious flash of time
Dancing with fears instead of the sublime
Seize the day and let inhibitions fall
Risk it all or gain nothing at all

Lay down scripts others gave you
And listen quietly for what rings true
In your untamed heart, your original song
Waiting for you to sing it loud and strong

You came here for a purpose unique to you
It cannot bloom if to self you aren't true
Watered by approval, other's views
Your soul-seed will only wither and lose

Let constraints go that keep you bound
To the safe, known, lower ground
You are meant to soar, to reach and leap
Not stay earthbound, placid and asleep

What if this moment contained eternity?
Would you dwell here more attentively?
Not seeking escape into past or future thinking
Missing the magical here, right now, unwinking

Life's fullness outpours in presence
When we drop resistance, pretense
And relax into mysterious perfection
Of the timeless Now, here in this section

Adventure calls from life's every corner
"Come taste, see, feel, forget your story!
Play with me now, add to your glory!"

So walk on, sail uncharted waters
Make today count more than tomorrows
Seize beginnings before they lose fire
And leap laughing into the mire

Take the dare, chance love though it hurts
Adventure whispers, come, take my hand
I'll show you wonders your dreams can't contain
If only you'll leave the safe harbors you've made

So come, put comforts aside, feel fear yet act
Forget "what if" replace it with "could be" and react
To the song in your soul, your own rhythm, desire
Not the chorus of crowds keeping dreams mired

You are the author, turn an empty page
Fill it with messy joy, adventures outrageous
Words unspoken, paths unwalked, depths unplumbed
Do not let uncertainties leave your life numbed

Being silly, playful, full of mirth
More precious than material worth
Laugh and dance as children do
When life feels fresh and choices new

Flowers grow only in tilled soil
It's messy making things fertile, not sterile
So plunge your hands in, over and over
Tending your heart's garden to uncover

Gifts inside needing space to sprout
Take shape, and brightly lace about
Your purpose path with colors bold and clear
Watered by joy, day by day appear

Life holds more than you can control
Improvisation feeds the soul
Plans may falter but spirit stays lit
When you act from your core, follow your grit

Leap while you can, leave regrets behind
Adventure whispers, come, I'll remind
Your soul of passions once brightly burning
Quenched by fear, now for igniting yearning

This moment glows with potential
Seize its gift, the time is mental
Yours to fill, so loosely hold plans
Improvisation love understands

Being present awakens every sense
To beauty, grace, as you walk the fence
Balancing order and chaos, this dance between
Being responsible yet boldly carefree

No path is smooth without rocks or bends
But far more enriching than dead ends
Twists and turns lead places unexpected
Horizons broadened, eyes lifted and directed

Beyond the known lies a feast unknown
A banquet of people, passions yet unsown
Waiting patiently for your delight
If you dare walk past the edge of night

Do not wait for courage to strike one day
It hides always within, there to stay
Available in every present minute
Waiting for willingness to begin it

Life cannot be repeated, relived
Each moment's a singular gift
To fill with passion, zeal, delight
Before it fades into the night

Dare to live well this bright flash of time
Dancing with joy instead of the sublime
Seize the day and let worries fall
Risk it all or gain nothing at all

So come, put comforts aside, feel fear yet act
Forget "what if" replace it with "could be" and react
To the song in your soul, your own rhythm, desire
Not the chorus of crowds keeping dreams mired

You are the author, turn an empty page
Fill it with messy joy, adventures outrageous
Words unspoken, paths unwalked, depths unplumbed
Do not let uncertainties leave your life numbed

Life brims with potential, overflowing
Drink it in, let go without too much knowing
Of how things will go, what lies ahead
Stay curious, dwell in now instead

Adventure whispers, take my hand friend
Together we'll discover wonders without end
Beyond safe harbors your heart has made
If only you'll risk comforts and come play

Say yes to beginnings before they lose fire
And leap laughing into the mire
Take the dare, chance love though it hurts
Adventure calls - come, make memories from starts!
