Translucent Depth

In shadows deep, where darkness creeps,
A soul entwined, in secrets, weeps.
The heart, a canvas, bruised and scarred,
Where echoes dwell, forever marred.

Obsession's chains, a cruel embrace,
Like tendrils reaching into space,
Entwined within a web of thought,
In every moment, it is sought.

A ghostly waltz of endless night,
Where stars are veiled, devoid of light.
In hollow whispers, echoes cry,
As joy and hope begin to die.

The mind, a maze of endless dread,
Where happiness remains unfed.
A captive of its twisted song,
In depths of despair, we all belong.

Yet in this struggle, strength may bloom,
Amidst the darkness and the gloom.
For even in the deepest pain,
A flicker of light can still remain.

Seek solace in the hearts that care,
In love, find refuge from despair.
Break free from obsession's cruel chains,
Embrace the sun through endless rains.

For in the depths, we find our might,
To rise above the darkest night.
In unity, we heal, we mend,
And in our brokenness, we transcend.

About this poem

There's nothing to say really, just a gift to the unappreciated mental tensions.
