My Little Garden

I have a little garden at the back of my house
With flowers and herbs and vegetables, and such

I sit in the garden, in the cool of the day
to admire its glory and sit in its shade

It’s not much of a garden, but it’s my little nook
To paint or to write or simply read a book

If I could choose a large estate with acres to spare,
I’d decline, because…
