About this poem
The poem is a conversation between Pete and his mom who suffers from cancer and has a few months left, as Pete sarcastically tries to genuinely answer her questions about life, death and the afterlife . The inevitability of our own death when pondered results in depression at best and insomnia at the very least. Sometimes the most difficult is getting up off the bed, life has no meaning, so just live your life and enjoy the present because we are all going to die and unfortunately we all have to live as well so do not stress. more »
