beauty

I want to write a poem for you,
but am not a poet,
nor do I deserve to be,
I wish you could see,
so, you would believe,
I don't deserve to be.

Green are the leaves,
Blue is the sky,
Your beauty has no color,
Your beauty is every color,
if there was a coat of many colors,
you deserve to be in it,

Your name should not be yours,
Nor beauty be the definition,
your beauty should not be defined,
with a word an English man can decide,
to mean beautiful in beauty.

I wish I was a poet,
To make you see,
what I see,
So that you can believe,
in what I see
Or are you just blind to see,
or believe.
