Letting Go

Letting go 1978 (New mexico)

Letting Go
We all do it
We all have that thing or time
That we hold onto, we can’t forget
We replay it over and over in our mind
It may be a job, an accident, a fight
If we could just go back to that day
How one moment can affect our whole life
We become trapped, in our heads and hearts, we lose the way
How did we get here?
And with this loss we find it easier to fear

We all have that someone
What if I would have been different
What if something else could have been done
We keep them only as memories, some so distant
Experiences and people will come and go
We must learn to live and love
Let your heart and soul be free of the past
Focus on the present
what is happening right now
Take ALL these people and experiences, use them to grow
This is ALL part of letting go

Thank you for sharing. A simple sounding lesson, yet so hard to learn.
