SWIFT 1985 (Bury)

SWIFT’S LIFE RULES

Be cool.

Take off your shoes.

Put both seats down,
and try not to be a tool.

Always cheers after each new drink
and check to see if the convo sinks
when you repeatedly ask if
you’re OK,
and don’t take them to task
if they don’t want to play.

Be kind if you can,
and silent if you can’t -
or say what you think
in your mind,
no alarms.

Swift’s life rules are a jumble of mess,
but so far,
(that I know)
they have kept me from harm.

Guess.
