The Only Hope

The Christmas Child of long ago;
God's gift to all is not
Still in his manger bed although,
It's where He's sometimes sought.

The Christmas Boy cannot be found
In temples where He learned
And taught to those who were around
Who showed they were concerned.

The Christmas Man is not upon
A cross at Calvary.
He died for us that holy dawn
And rose for you and me.
